This Privacy Policy explains what information CevCommerce LLC ("CevCommerce", "we", "us") collects when you use cevcommerce.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@cevcommerce.com and we will answer plainly.
fbclid and gclid, and the page you arrived from. Our application form asks for your phone number, and separately asks you to tick a box to consent to calls and text messages. Ticking it is what gives consent — giving us your number does not. If you leave the box unticked you can still finish your application and still book a call; we will use your number to run that call and nothing else. The full wording, and the terms below, are also set out on our SMS Terms page.
If you do consent, you agree to receive recurring automated calls and text messages from us at that number, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system and a prerecorded or artificial voice, about your application and your call, and about our products, offers, and events.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, or your consent to be contacted by SMS, with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, and only so that they can deliver them.
We keep a record of when you gave consent and the exact wording you were shown, so that we can demonstrate consent if asked.
We send transactional email (confirmations, reminders, and replies) and marketing email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional messages about a call you have booked.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes described above:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CevCommerce or others. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
Mobile opt-in data is carved out of all of the above. Your phone number, together with your consent to be contacted by text message, is not sold or shared with any third party for their own marketing, is not included in any sale, merger, or transfer of the business, and is never uploaded to an advertising platform. It goes only to the providers that deliver our messages, so that they can deliver them.
We do not set cookies of our own. We store information directly in your browser's local storage, where it stays until you clear it: a randomly generated application identifier, which version of the page you were shown, the campaign and referral details described in section 1, and the record of how you used the page described below. Until you finish booking a call, that storage also holds the name, email address and phone number you entered; we clear those once your call is booked. Your answers to the application questions are not saved between visits — if you reload the page part-way through, you start again.
How you use the page. As you read, we keep a running note of how far down the page you have scrolled, how much of the video has actually played, how long you spend on each section while the tab is in front of you, and how many times you click. It is a set of numbers, not a copy of anything you typed: no answer, name, email address or phone number goes into it. If you submit an application, that summary is attached to your record so we know what you had already seen before we speak to you.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand which ads lead to applications and bookings, and to build advertising audiences. The Pixel sets its own cookies. When you submit an application we read two of them (_fbp and _fbc) and send them with it, so a booking can be matched back to the advertisement that produced it. If the Pixel did not set _fbc — because it was blocked, or loaded too late — we reconstruct the equivalent value ourselves from the click identifier in the link you arrived on.
Any page carrying the Pixel reports its own web address to Meta. We keep application identifiers and personal details out of those addresses.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site — where people click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck. Clarity sets its own cookies and records a playback of your visit: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and the page as it appeared to you. It masks what you type by default, so the answers, contact details and any other text you enter are not captured. It does not run on this page, on our Terms of Service, or on our SMS Terms. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy terms, and you can opt out of it at choice.microsoft.com.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can adjust ad personalisation in your Meta account settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site working.
We do not sell personal information for money. Building advertising audiences from information you have given us may count as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law, and you have the right to opt out of it.
To opt out, email support@cevcommerce.com with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line. We will remove you from advertising audience uploads and will not add you to new ones. You do not need an account to make the request, and we will not ask you to create one. This is separate from how we contact you directly — to stop calls, email or texts, use the options in section 8.
We keep your application and contact information for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are retained for as long as required to demonstrate compliance.
You can, at any time:
Email support@cevcommerce.com to make any of these requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you have rights under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing are your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating and marketing our business.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
We operate from the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from your own.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated more directly where practical.
